Summertime birthdays mean....

WATER BALLOONS!!!!

We had a fun day up in Boulder celebrating Sa-Sa's birthday! SO FUN

Charlie checking on Aldus.

Picnic-ing in the park w/ yummy sandos & salad in your hands.

I can't believe this guy kept his sun hat on for the most part.

HUGE GAME of WATERBALLOONS!

Twin sandwich.

Charlie & Pops were a great team. (That smile & excitement is ridiculous)

Anticipation!!!!

This shot is about 2 seconds shy of a Sa-Sa water explosion!!!!

Happy Birthday Sa-Sa!

I might be crazy.....

I've had it.
In order to make the jeans fit properly it's time for drastic measures.

Tracy is getting me back in shape.

I am getting off coffee and having wine on a limited basis for the next 90 days. Plus following her diet. Plus doing cardio & matt workouts.

I should probably repeat something: NO COFFEE AND LIMITED WINE!

WHOOOo do I think I am?

I should also probably mention that the box arrived about 2 weeks ago and sat on my kitchen table.
Sooo...I am only on day 3.

A co-worker of mine made me a little surprise to keep me motivated. It made me laugh so hard. Then the blonde hair kinda freaked me out so I colored it. ;)

Jeff & the boys have been troopers. Everytime I break out the sweet potato and corn "pudding" the boys usually want some, too. It's been a TON of prep work and planning to make sure my meals are made and the fellas have a good dinner, too.

I made this just like full plate blog did. Was kinda fun to break out the Cuizinart!

Charlie "helped" me.

I got inspired by all these meals she makes her kids.

I found a blog that is super helpful. http://www.fullplatecookinglessons.blogspot.com/
If you check it out you can see what some of the weeks meals are (pics above are from Full plate blog) and then some amazingly great options for little people. Eila is my new hero. My guys ate roasted asparagus happily on Monday night. LOVE THAT! And I introduced Charlie to pepitas. He loved 'em.

Anyhooo.....
this has been rather time consuming as of late. I'm hoping that it gets easier as the weeks go by. I'm so overwhelmed w/ all that you have to do I haven't even really thought of what I'm missing or what restaurant I want to go to for a "GOOD JOB! TREAT".

(sushi den of course is always in my mind) ;)

Funnnnn Stuufffffff

Happy Friday!

I'm busy busy busy desiging for more contests & stuff. (*glup - still haven't heard anything) ;) Got some fun birth announcements in the werks. (HA-u know who you are) AND... have a big wknd planned!

First - this is FUN! I can't wait to show Charlie & Ben and get them hooked on TYPOGRAPHY!

Speaking of ZOO's ... I think we are headed this weekend to this even @ the Denver Zoo. They are having National Thai Elephant day on Sunday. You have no idea how many pieces of broccoli that C&B have taken down b/c they think they are eating "Trees" just like the elephants.

I've never uploaded a video before. This video is 3 min long and well... you know who are the stars of it. Soooo view @ your own risk.

FABRIC

I am sooo obsessed with this fabric. I don't know if  it's the graphic designer in me that is so in love w/ this trellis or what. Needless to say it's a smidge too expensive for moi. (HA)

Team Terch

Have you ever heard of TTTS?

It's Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. It affects 1 in 7 monochorionic (shared placenta) pregnancies and, if left untreated, has a near 100% mortality rate.

My friend Nicoles little boys, Blake & Parker, were diagnosed with TTTS at their 20 week appointment and in their remaining 17 weeks were quite literally a fight for their lives.

Nicole and her husband, Tyler, were referred to Lonnie Sommers and his foundation - Fetal Hope - by friends who had lost twins to TTTS. Fetal Hope helped them secure the finest Doctors and expert medical staff which helped the boys overcome this syndrome. As the weeks progressed, Blake & Parker became stronger and were eventually born in the 36th week.

Nicole and her husband, Tyler, vowed to help raise awareness and fund for foundations like Fetal Hope to help other families dealing with this syndrom.

On Nov. 14th, 2010, there is a RACE FOR FETAL HOPE 5K in Washington Park. Nicole & Tyler are organizing TEAM TERCH and I am helping them w/ a logo for their T-shirts! Nicole is figuring out what color t-shirts but this is the logo that they will wear during the race. The ER signifies Ella & Reese Mackey who were the twin girls that their friends lost. This is a little way to honor them.

I think these T-shirts will definitely help raise some awareness! Don't you!?

You can sign up to be on TEAM TERCH. SIGN UP HERE!!  Make sure you pick Team Terch in the TEAM drop down. Nicole & Tyler are great people and their children are even more amazing! Any support you can throw their way would be wonderful.

GO TEAM TERCH!

Back up just a bit....

My personal assistant quit (ha) so I'm a bit behind in our day to days.... but here's a little account of what we've been up to this fall.

We headed to the barber shop not long after this pic was taken. ;) Hairy boys. But I love 'em!

Our Saturdays have been filled with 9am soccer games. Right there is Coach Dad.

Right here is classic want to do whatever my brother is doing...

First weekend in October we scooted up to Grand Lake for some last minute fall fun.
It was clean out the garage day... and while that doesn't sound like a lot of fun to most folks, you get to hang out in the Dune Buggy while Uncle Scooty & Daddy do all the work.

This boat is for sale. ;)

WHOA. We figured that this was last cleared out about 20 years go. It was time.

No weekend is complete with out a little kayak ride on GL. Highlight this time was finding a dead *Hairy* fish.

The aspens were beautiful!

Got a few finishing touches on the garage. Jeff made this back in the day. I love it and think it's perfect above the garage!

Me and my fellas. It was a great quick trip.

Until on our way down to Denver we saw this plume of smoke.

Scary scary stuff when you're this close to it. We drove over Berthoud in a cloud of smoke. I think this fire is out now...but it was not fun to see so close to GL.

Cupcakes & Stationery go together don't they???

Maybe this will inspire a line of yummy stationery.

A friend passed on this blog.

Bakerella.

Apparently Bakerella was just in D-town. I am ready to go eat crepes downtown & check out 2 other cupcake places. Who wants to go with me? Right now.

Photos from Bakerella's site. I'm kinda mad at my friend for passing this blog on. ;)P

TGIF...........

Seriously. It's been one of "those" weeks. Mostly due to a certain 3-yr-olds current state of mind.
Plus it's 90+ degrees. That never helps when it comes to sleeping.
We're ready for a wknd getaway to the mountains to cool off.

I did get out my sisters shower invitations! And sadly - didn't even send one to her? DUH - her name wasn't on the invite list. Poor bride, didn't even get invited to her own shower. I threw one in the mail. She's good.

AND... a friend thru some business cards on my desk. I'd designed them for her for her photography business. http://www.sarahgodbyphotography.com She's super doooper talented. You'd better book her fast b/c she is expecting her first 'lil bambino in September.

See if you recognize anyone on her site. ;)P

Or just scroll down....

Happy weekend, EVERYBODY!!!!!!
