Fun stuff

OOOHhhhhh.... how I love when babies turn one. It's SOOOOoooo fun to help others set the theme.
Which I helped a friend do here!

Townes is following his daddy's footsteps and is quite the little music maker in the kitchen.
He also likes cars,

but his mama thought the music fit just right. ME TOO!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. T!

RESEARCH mode

I love me a new project! Gets the creative juices going. That and a hazelnut non-fat latte. ;)

I am working on a bridal luncheon invitation - southern style. Think cast iron skillet, think gray, teal & yellow. Think sweet tea & cheese grits. Think I wish I was going to this party....

A little treat arrived in the mail...

I'm a little excited about this if you can't tell.
Orange beads.
Can't stop staring at them.

Thank you to my little elf in Palm Desert! ;)

I'm still here!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the radio silence.

My time was being taken up by two small aliens while their big alien daddy was at the jersey shore. (no - seriously)

One of the aliens had his first soccer game.

I love the tongue-out-concentration in the 2nd photo. ;)

The other lil alien is thinking about standing on his own - so there wasn't a lot of "sit" time over the last week.

Oh, and I had a birthday. A princess birthday to be precise.

Gotta lot of projects in the hopper! Stay tuned....

A little dreaming....

Now that my list is a little shorter...I had a moment to think about what I might want to do in our dining room.

Hmmm.......

Canvas prints of the latest Munn photos on the wall.

A barrel pendant light.

New curtains.

Hang my Fornasetti plates & wine rack.

Hmmmm.....

UPDATE:
Hmmm.... maybe this one. All drapes are from Anthropologie.com. Of course. You need vote.

Shhhh.... a little treat comin' a friends way...

Ever have one of those thoughts in the middle of the night and you have to write it down so that you don't forget it!?!?!? I had one of those...maybe because I've been going to bed @ 8:30 every night this week to catch up from the wedding weekend.

I have a friend, Ruthie, who has a little boy named Campbell. He's as cute as a button I tell you! Don't you think she needs these in her busy life?

I really can't decide which version I like. I just want to play in that tee-pee!

Shhhhhh.... if you know her, don't tell her.

And Ruthie, if you're reading this... well.... act surprised!

UPDATE:
much much better, don't you think?

UPDATE 2:
Berry picking, hiking & more cabinets on the list for this last wknd of summer.
What is on your list??????????

The Wedding

I guess I didn't realize how HARD it would be to take photos of an actual wedding that you are actually in! Add to that the bride is your only sister and that makes it TRIPPLE hard.

Sally's photographer, Katie Thurmes, will deliver the goods. She just posted one to tease us today.
http://www.jennawalkerphotography.com/blog/

They are so darn talented over there @ Jenna Walker Photography. SHEESH! Makes me tear up lookin' at this pic. The bride & groom were just smiling the ENTIRE WEEKEND and this photo just sums it all up.

Okay
Okay
Okay

Here are some of our pics and some from our friends camera.

Walking down the Mother of the Bride
Best Man & MOH
Ring bearer & his escorts Jeff & Benson
Father of the bride & the pretty bride herself.

Those are from Miss Sabrina's camera. I don't have a single one from mine. ;( Looks like Sally is trying to make Andrew laugh - he got kinda teary.

Ladies lunch well in Crested Butte. Espically w/ parasols.

Our party got crashed by a bunch of cute dudes on cruisers.

Somebody got ahold of my camera. ;)

We painted signs for the big day... they were eventually placed around the ceremony site trail.

What bride hasn't needed a quick sip before she heads out the door!

After the rain stopped the B&G cruised down main street.

I have never seen bigger smiles.

Oh- wait a minute. Here's a big smile trying to get me to let him play in all the puddles in his nice wedding outfit.
TESTING MY PATIENCE!!!
Ben fell asleep - but we still had to try & take a family photo.

I nominate this picture for The Brownlee's 2010 Christmas card.

The only shot I think we took of the 2 of us all weeknd. I'm a lucky sister.
