I was lucky enough to getaway for a few days with my besties.
If I may say so, our group of gals do bachelorette parties RIGHT. None of the drag you thru the gross bars and force you to wear shameful things in public. (not that you are totally off the hook, though) We like our nice houses, we like our cocktails & vino & beers, we like cooking for the group, we like hiking, running, pool time & hot tubbing. We like a good dance mix and a little bit of the traditional bachelorette things. This IS a family blog (HA HA HA) so I'll leave the nitty gritty out. A girls got to keep SOME secrets. But, basically, our group of girls (aka THE DENVER TRIBE) LOOOOVES to plan a good getaway weekend.
Our group started this tradition off in Vegas 6+ years ago. Then we moved upwards and onwards to places like Grand Lake, CO., Breckenridge, CO., Palm Spring, CA., San Diego, CA., and most recently MIAMI. We're fun people.
This past wknd marked one of the last gals to don the garb from the bachelorette bag that we have passed on & on & on to every bride to be. We headed up to Breckenridge and rented a giant house.
Plenty of room to cook, eat, bootie-drop, play, paint toes, learn to fly fish, hot tub, take naps, play catan, and eat & drink some more.
The aspens were AMAZING!
So was our house.
The bachelorette and our friends little one (that came to spend 1 night!) With all these weddings, we've expanded the rules. Little ones that aren't crawling are totally allowed. ;) Trust us. In a house this big, a little one will not be woken up by some 107.5-inspired tunes.
Giant kitchen. So perfect for a bunch of gals that like to cook & gab at the same time.
This professional party goer brought peach mojitos. DEE LISH.
Yes. I still get this excited about a glass of wine.
LERN whipped together this amazing meal for us all.
So good it warranted a picture.
Well. This is where things start to get a little out of control.
I don't know WHY the bachelorette needed a time-out like this.
And even if your pregnant, (due in Jan?? on left, due in March on right)
one can still have a good time on the dance floor.
There are tons more photos - but those are for safe-keeping.
And black mail opportunities.
JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
;)
xoxoxoxoxo love you Denver Tribe girls!
